Recently many news articles are talking about metaverse after facebook announced to create a metaverse. Before going let us understand what is metaverse ? It's not something new that Facebook is working on, metaverse can be said to be a virtual world where you have a different experience than real life, for example Pokemon Go. You were in a completely different world virtually. Even Microsoft is working on metaverse.
But is metaverse something that we need ? Facebook has displayed such blueprints where you can create your own house in a different world and can even party with them and also get a job there. You can literally interact with different people, so it's completely like your own city but different. Understanding such platforms can be very complex where you are putting social media and real world complexity together. Even one of the couples got married in metaverse. Even many product based giants are setting their stores in the metaverse. Even singer's are conducting their concert over metaverse.
With such a hype, certainly it has some questions to answer. Like why would someone trust animated figure of someone while they haven't even seen them in real life? Certainly working in metaverse is a solution to bring people from corners of the world to come and work for tech giants. And similarly it's a good way to connect with your friends who live abroad. But still it's a long race to answer whether metaverse is complete solution or not and time will answer the complex questions raised on it.
