The episode 2 of the Loki series unfolds the great ‘madness’ of the multiverse. Until now no series of Marvel has ever given away such a mind boggling second episode, not even Marvel-Netflix series. This episode tells us the real intention of Loki Variant (2) and what is his real plan. His actual plan is to overthrow the Time Keepers because he has realized that no authority is as powerful as the TVA in the universe.
Loki watching his other variants
This is why in the second episode when Loki became nervous after seeing the Infinity Stones lying as mere paperweights in the closets of a normal employee, he had made it his reality that the TVA can catch him anywhere he goes in the universe, but I felt that it was not all. He also perceived that if he wants to fulfil his ‘glorious purpose’ it can only be done after conquering the TVA. The biggest yet subtle event that uncovers in the episode is the RED LINE which is the limit of the sacred timeline after which the reset charges will not work in that nexus event occurred timeline. But the question is WHAT EXACTLY IS IT AFTER WHICH THE TIMELINE REACHES TO THE RED LINE?
The sacred timeline being destroyed
Is it an event which occurs in that particular branched reality, or it is the amount of time it was left untouched by the TVA? If I have to describe it easily, is it that after some number of days when the TVA has left the timeline unnoticed or would there be a major event like a natural calamity by which the existence or something of the sacred timeline is disturbed?! Also, when you dive into the theory completely, we can clearly see that after the branched timeline crosses the RED LINE it will create another universe which will be the base for Doctor Strange: Into the Multiverse of Madness. The biggest takeaway from this episode from my side is the philosophical and analytical conversations between Mobius and Loki when Loki tells Mobius that, “No bad person is completely bad, and no good person is completely good.” These was particularly a surprise element because Marvel likes to keep its shows less intimidating and kid friendly, but this dialogue well suits the DC Universe.

This episode also shows us the extent of Lady Loki’s powers but still her complete intention is still unknown which will unravel in the upcoming episodes.

In conclusion this episode was the perfect 2nd episode till date of any Marvel show which gave out the correct amount of suspense and cliffhanger.
