What name do you recall when I say web series? Netflix? Amazon Prime Video? Hotstar? Well, I think you should broaden your perspective and look at the amazing web series produced and curated by The Viral Fever popularly known as TVF and what more?! Many of them are free of cost to watch on YouTube itself.
1. Kota Factory
This exemplary web series was released in 2019 which covers the life of students who decide to go to Kota, Rajasthan after their 10th Boards to prepare for IIT-JEE. This was so apt and relatable that the viewers could not stop praising it. Direction, Scripting, Cinematography, Acting, Casting could not be any better. This series consists of 5 episodes each of them almost 50 mins, but you would want to see more. There is no exaggeration or overdoing of things happening in Kota. There is even a personal touch from makers as many of the crew members themselves have prepared from the coaching classes over there. This web series not only shows the problems faced by students but also give a feasible solution towards it which can be easily practiced and applied in real life. All the actors have done a phenomenal job, but my personal favorite is Jeetu Bhaiya (Jitendra Kumar) and Meena (Ranjan Raj) who are also from IIT KGP and IIT B, respectively.

2. Hostel Daze
This series is dedicated to portraying the lives of engineering students who have joined hostels of their colleges. This web series is not recommended to watch with family as it contains lots of cuss words, adult content, etc. This show is more of an exaggerated version of what happens in real life. Many incidents and “stunts” in this web series is true too because you can never say what could happen in an engineering college hostel. You are named with nicknames you could never think of, college love, exposing yourselves with different types of intoxicants some of which you must have never heard of. This collectively shows that anything can happen in hostels except studies. Although there are some problematic jokes and scenes. Sometimes you might also feel it to be over-exaggerated but in most cases it is not. This web series can be viewed on Amazon Prime Video. Notable performances include Shubham Gaur (Rupesh Bhati), Luv (Chirag Bansal).

3. ASPIRANTS
Another masterpiece by TVF nurtured and made with love by the crew. This web series covers the life of UPSC (considered to be one of the toughest examinations in the world) students living in Old Rajendra Nagar which is the hub of aspirants preparing for Civil Services. This series tries to show the unexplored side of the students who decided to live there either by leaving their current job, business, or any other personal source of income. The biggest highlight of the show should be the actors and the music department. The actors have done remarkable job by portraying the different types of students going there to study. Some might be very serious, and some might be taking a chance in improving their status only, but everyone has a reason. The melodious music and rhythms support the character arc of the actor very aptly. This web series can be viewed on YouTube (at the time of writing this article the 5th episode is yet to be released). Notable performances include Naveen Kasturia (Abhilash) and Sunny Hinduja (Sandeep Bhaiya).

4. Pitchers
Do you have a groundbreaking idea that can change or make a task easier for mass people and also give you money, but you are stuck whether you should leave your job or not? This web series might just be the dose you need. This web series is about three friends joined by the fourth person later who leave their high paying job to do a start-up. They do not know whether they will succeed or not, but they want to take a shot. This web series shows us the struggles of entrepreneurs and it is not as lavish as it looks, and you have to work much more than your capacity. Meeting people, cracking deals is not an easy task, but it gives you different feeling of satisfaction when you finally are able to do what you wanted to do and not what you needed to do. It also covers the financial problems, family problems, plagiarism, patents and how you need to take care of them before stepping into the field of entrepreneurship. This series can be watched on TVF app and MX Player. Notable performances include Arunabh Kumar (Yogi) and Abhay Mahajan (Mandal).
